Hi Luca,
I believe the final value of the resistor in the basis-line of the
transistor was about 1.2 kOhms.
I soldered some long wires on the appropriate pins of the
LPT-connector. So I could measure the voltage and thereby watch the
switching behaviour of the LPT-port. I watch the switching behaviour of
my interfdace on the rig, hi!
I found the circuit with the 2 optocouplers (one for cw-keying and one
for PTT-control) in the internet and I am sure that this will work for
some LPT-ports. But not for all. Especially not for the onboard ports
of modern mainboards resp. laptops.
