Indeed it is, Walter, I've been doing that for a couple of years. You do
need an available ISA slot on your computer for a SoundBlaster SB16 sound
card for RITTY. The other sound system for MMTTY can be a plug-in PCI card,
or a built-in sound system on the mother board if it passes the sound test.
My setup is as follows:
Home built computer using a purchased motherboard with 1.0 gHz P3 Processor,
which has (1) 16 -bit ISA slot and (4) 32 - bit PCI slots.
It has a built in AC'97 Digital Audio controller.
I had no problem getting RITTY working with the SB-16 sound card. There is a
settable Device ID in MMTTY that you will have to try until you find one
that doesn't conflict with the SB-16. It's under : Option/Setup
MMTTY/Misc/Device ID. Mine is set to -1 and it works.
I am available anytime if you want to contact me direct for any more details
