I have IE and some other things running in Wine under Mac OS X on my
Intel MacBook Pro (some places I have to go on the Web *require* that
I be running IE in Windows; this is close enough). I'll see if I can
install a copy of WriteLog and play with it; maybe will give you some
idea of how things will work.
