That vintage of Yaesu radio used one backup battery for CPU memory and
tuner memory.  The problem is, if the battery goes low, the tuner won't
work.  Check your battery or replace it.  It's a standard Sony battery
with solder tabs welded to it.  You don't have to get it from Yaesu.
