Oh, one thing as far as unavailable components go...

The Phillips BLF147 50V final devices are not available anymore.  You might
find various ones floating around but you'll never be able to find the
matched set you (probably) need.  I went through a long search process a
few years ago when I needed them for a Yaesu FTV1000 6M transverter, that
ended in failure.  I eventually ripped the original PA out of the FTV1000
and built a new one based on a 30W module so I could still use the
transverter as a driver for my Harris SSPA's.

I don't think the Phillips driver part is available either.  So, be careful
with that FT1000MP MKV - DO NOT use the Class A feature, which biases up
the devices so high they run at the temperature of the sun !  You have been
warned :)
