The ALC in the Collins 30S1 is derived from a transformer between the bias supply and the tube. To get ALC, Grid current must flow ..... even if slightly. ZERO grid current = Zero ALC. Possibly a bet

The Chinese are making Hi-Po parts for Speed Shops now. Cams and roller lifters, and dual plane intakes. Looks like the Chinese are trying to put every part of American manufacturing out of business.
