Andy, don't take it too hard.  Everybody (and I mean everybody) does
something like this at least once in their contest career.  Look on the
bright side...you got yours out of the way early ;-)

My personal best (aside from forgetting to send in logs and ordinary brain
farts like that) is forgetting the on-time limit during NAQP.  A very
impressive score turned out to be not so impressive.  Of course, I
announced it to the reflector and the entire world.  My good friend,
WA0RJY, has now taken it upon himself to be sure that I follow all of the
on-time limits by regularly reminding me of that little debacle.  Thank
you, Jack!

Hey there, contest mavens, how about posting the best of your worst?  No
need to air the deep dark secrets of your contesting soul, just those
special events that illuminate the sheer humanity of it all.
