Working from a hotel room in Dzerzhinsk, Russia (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast) using
FT-100 and dipoles out the window for 10/15/20 m. I tried loading them for 40
m at night, but nobody could hear me :-( My first time as DX. Where were the
VK's and ZL's? Never heard a single VE either. Thanks to all the ops who
stayed with me through harsh conditions to copy my puny signal. I had to work
most of Europe thru the backs of their beams (all pointed west)!
