Wow, just an unbelievable effort by operator WA2GO. Credit John with
perseverance, patience and a great SO2R effort. Of course, the great
propagation helped a lot, not to mention the 4 stacked 5 el yagis on 10 and 15.
In looking at his breakdown, 80 was useless at the 5 watt level and 40 was
almost as bad. 20 was a real struggle. It was only on 10 and 15 where he
could get anything going.
Here's a typical result of hearing one side of a typical QRP QSO on 20:
"No, no, Seven seven,seven seven, seventy-seven."
"No, no, no. Seven, seven, seven, seventy-seven."
"Negative, negative. First number Seven, seven, seven, seven, seventy-seven."
"Roger, roger, roger."
"Yes, yes, you have it right. Roger, roger, roger."
Repeat process 100 times.
