It was fun working this contest in relaxed atmosphere from VE3SY's house. I
was accompanied with Paul's, VE3SY two beautiful cats whose occasional meow
would keep me awake during the wee hours of the contest.
40, 20 and 15 were alive during the weekend but sagging sunspot numbers took
their tool on 10 meter band. I could only hear and work few EU stations on
skewed path. As for the low bands, many didn't seem to bother with 80 and
160. Occasional CQs on these two low bands went unanswered. Everyone was on
40 meters stocking up on those EU high point QSOs. It was worth the time
spent.
