Comments:
Loaded my 80/40m sloped dipole by tying the braid and center conductor of the
feedline together. Height at the center of antenna is only 25 ft. I heard
well using a receive loop and the low 'Tee-dipole'. Found it frustrating to
be calling stations who were Q5+ and not be able to induce even a pause in their
cqing. A fair number eventually did hear my weak signal tho.
Enjoyed these QSO's. 160m is a great band. 73 Joe
