AC power to the W6JPL shacked was scheduled to
be off for maintenance until 0045z, but I lucked
out and the electricians finished early (thought I
was going to have to use the diesel generator).
Felt like I got off to a good start, but I
floundered again in the 2nd hour (I probably should
have hit 40 meters sooner). Outstanding multiplier
availability despite the CQ/RJ RTTY Contest (heard
rumors that 60 mults were available). I heard
W. Virginia (K8JQ) and Yukon (VY1JA), but they
were QSYing each time.
It was nice to hear all the Cat's and Jim's. This
was a very thoughtful gesture on the part of the
contesting community. Cu all next time.
