Sorry to be a bit delayed with this report - had to take my daughter to JFK New
York immediately following the contest and today was my first day back on the
island again.
Nice to see so many old friends in the contest.....
The report from VY2
10M and even 15M were really marginal up here - 10 especially. I could hear the
guys down in W3 and W4 running EU when all I could hear up here was sssshhhhhh
(band noise). A late opening garnered the 7 mults I managed to work on 10 -
although CT1ILT was 559 to as high as S9 for several hours on Sunday morning.
Congrats to N9RV on a very fine effort and also to N2OW at K1TTT.
The crew at N3RD did a superb job as well - I heard them working guys on 10M on
Sunday that were not even ESP copy here.
