Comments:
Converted 70' high inverted V to inverted L w/ 70' vert & 60' horizontal. One
radial so far, unless one can count shield of long coax. Next step is to make it
an inverted T and work on a receiving antenna. Static crashes were at least S9
with some as high as 20 over. A little rough when trying to copy an S 5 signal.
Heard ZL, couldn't work. Bagged it at 1200 local when static crashes came too
often and too loud. QTH is at 3400' in Sierra Nevada foothills.
DX wkd: JA, KH6, KL, KP2, PJ2, VP5, XE and FM.
