Comments:

The contest can be best summed up as, ?Lack luster?. W3SO was on for the entire
27 hours. The band conditions were bad. No DX was heard except for a few VEs.
>From 11 PM Saturday night until 8AM Sunday AM, the bands were dead. And there
was rain static from heavy rains at the site late Saturday night into Sunday.

Most of the 2m QSOs were a result of passes from 6m. This was unlike other VHF
contests were the passes are from 2m. Was everyone on 6m looking for the elusive
DX? The team expected more rovers to be out.

The best 2m DX was: EM71 to the west, FN03 to the north, and FM07 to the south.
The best 6m DX was EL94 to the south, EM03 to the west, and FN74 to the north.

QSLs to W3TEF.

For the Wopsononock Mountaintop Operators,
Ed, K3IXD
