Comments:

Rig: IC-718 with 250Hz CW filter
Power: 100W
20 Meters: Inverted-V-dipole
40 Meters: Inverted-V-dipole
Software: N1MM Logger V5.0.119

This time I did some preparation for the contest: I connected my rig to the
computer (both CAT & CW keying). This was the first time I have operated a
contest this way (usually just paddle and paper log) so I had to learn and
practice the exchange flow between S&P modes and running modes and how
everything has to be done. All went rather smooth with that. Only problem with
the software I found was that in S&P mode I couldn't respond to dupes in ESM
mode with "enter" and had to use F4 instead. In running mode "work dupes" option
takes care of the same.

The major problem was on 40m: I only had two QSOs because keying messed up big
time (sorry W7SW about garbled exchange before going to the paddle... and
K4BAI... I couldn't reply to you because keying didn't work properly). I have to
check out by the next contest if that was RFI or what happened.

Had a good time :-)

73 & KB,

Risto
W6RK
