Comments:
Same equipment and station layout here for the past three years with a steady
decrease in both scores and solar flux levels. "Wonder if there is a
correlation?", he said rhetorically. Brightest point of the contest was busting
the 20 meter pileup to work VY1JA at 0131Z on Saturday evening. It went
downhill from there. Missed NL, NNY, ND and QC. Heard VO1AU calling other
stations a couple of times on 20, didn't hear anyone from the remaining
sections. Maybe next year 40 will be quiet enough to make up for the lack of 10
and 15 meter propagation.
