Only put 2 hrs into this unplanned effort. Had a late start on 20m, I stayed
there until it was really done. 40m was tough with my inverted vee, but it
disappeared. 80m was ok until towards the end. For me rates were so bad (at
least I couldn't hear anyone). I took a dinner break, walked the dog then came
back to it for the last 40 minutes, set a goal for 50 q's, but the last 6
minutes not one new station was heard or answered one of my 690 CQ's.
Considering I have a S-9 noise level here I didn't feel too much like an
alligator. The guys with the big antennas seemed to do pretty good, although I
noticed no one's numbers real high.
