Oh boy! It's been several months since I last took part in the NS. I kept having
the right radio's audio stop. Had to send several "sri..problems...go ahead" to
people when the radio "froze up" on receive. But it still would transmit!!!
I finally figured out that I had the TR Cconfig file set for "not work dupes on
S&P" without any "QSO Before" message, so the radio just sat there when I worked
someone again on a band and waited to send the message that was not programmed!
It was good to figure it out before going mad and tearing the SO2R box apart.
Of course I cost several of you a QSO and I apologize. Myself several times
over too!
It was nice to get back into the swing. 40-80-160 all were great.
Good to work my nomadic pal, "touring Ted," N9NB, on 80 and 160!
PS Worked the SNS as well. Thanks W9RE.
AA1LL was a welcome new station. Please come back.
Had the same "strange radio freeze" problem in the SNS and it bolloxed one of
the N9FC QSOs. Sorry John!
40 meters 9Q 6 Mults
80 meters 2Q 2 Mults
total 11Q/8M/88 big points!
