Comments:
Was hearing stations all over the country on 80m, but all I could work was N6RO.
I don't quite understand this situation, unless it's the fact that we have an
extraordinarily quiet QTH here. Signals were weak on 40 meters, but contacts
were easier to make than some weeks. Still have un-corrected antenna issues on
that band, awaiting an antenna master plan for this still-new QTH.
Score was slightly below last weeks 825, but same number of mults.
We are still crowding the central frequencies too much, although there's good
evidence that some ops are spreading out. Still, only 3 out of 16 20m Q's were
at 14038 or below. However on 40m, 9 of the 13 Q's were well away from the
center.
Ladder resumes next week. Good luck to all and be sure to do something fun for
the 4th. But not so fun that we don't see you back in the ladder!
