Comments:

Decided on Thursday to enter. The K3 was still set to 5W from last year. I
guess I need to operate more.
CQing was very effective on 20M this year, and I had one very nice run for an
hour or so mid-day Saturday. Nice to have 15M open for many contacts. 10M was
marginal, but I was able to get my call through to a couple of EU stations who
were VERY patient.
I blew past last year's score Sunday morning, so I set 900 Qs as a new goal.
When I passed 900, I thought 1,000 Qs to be impossible, but there were enough
new stations on 40M, and I was also able to work a number of JA stations on 20M
towards the end.
While most stations were worked with one call, a number required three or four
repeats to get my callsign complete and correct. Especially to these stations
I say "Thank You". And to my brother Peter (K3ZM), who stomped all over me to
an XE2 on 160M, well....I'll get you on the golf course.
George, K2DM
