Comments:

Got started about 7 p.m., but couldn't figure out N1MM logger so sent panic
message to a couple reflectors, and started logging with quill and papyrus.
Quickly some kind folks told me the Quirks of N1MM - who would logically write
a frequency or mode in the "call" box to change bands/modes. Anyway, by about
8 p.m. I had put in the (few) Q's I had made to that point, and went ahead with
N1MM logger.

My brand new lash-up antenna wouldn't load on 40 metres, not even after
fiddling around for about an hour, so was stuck on 20 and 80 metres until
Sunday afternoon when I found the "magic bullet" which allowed the matchbox to
match on 40 metres. 40 turned out to be a gold mine, and even some weak
stations could copy my 5 watts on 40 during Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to the organizers and sponsors of this FB Contest!
