Comments:
80 Meters was a major disappointment. I thought New England people would migrate
there in the last hour but with a few exceptions it didn't happen. But I kept
busy working a bunch of 7s in their event. Get this: I worked exactly the same
number of 7s on 80 Meters as I did New England (and that was in just one night,
not two). Last year 80 was productive in the first hour on Sunday morning but,
this year, nada. I will be very interested in seeing the 80 Meter CW totals out
of New England.
7QP: total 99Qs. NEQP: total 105 Qs. Indiana QP: total 32 Qs. For all three, 20
Meters was putrid.
I did call some CQ NE and got a few responses. Snagged K1KI/mobile in Hartford
CT County in the last five minutes, otherwise I'd have missed it. When I worked
Tom in Hamden County MA (also a new one) I knew he was on the way to the state
line, and home.
