Comments:
This would have been a lot more fun if the organizers of this event had
taken county expeditions a lot more seriously. There were six counties,
all in the SE quadrant of the state, that I never heard, and three that
I heard (and worked) only once. One guy signed up for all the counties I
missed, and I never heard him or saw him spotted!
This was a strange state QSO party, in that a lot of stations didn't call CQ --
I had to call CQ to work them! I also learned the importance of NOT pointing a
beam at 70 degrees and leaving it there -- there were at least a half dozen
guys who I could hear but they couldn't hear me. Another interesting
observation -- many of the counties with lower activity were worked only on
SSB.
