Comments:
Other year we have been active in EA SSB Contest (King of Spain), a summer event
for enjoying the company of friends.
This year we decided to make a team of operators who do not come regularly to
the radio station and other colleagues with less experience so they can
practice for future visits to other Contests. The team was: DH1TW, EA1AR,
EA1ASC, EA1FMD, EC1KR, EA4AOC, EA4DB, EA4DEC, EA4SG, EA4FTA, EC4DX. We decided
entry in Category MM with 4 active stations at the same time with the intention
of offering our multiplier (AV) in all possible bands simultaneously ...
The Contest itself has improved, participation is higher, but no station in the
night (01.00 05.00 UTC). EA participation continues to increase, people seem to
be starting to disperse and do not know focus only on 40m, there were people
higher bands but still have to ask many stations QSY to pass another band to
make a qso easy ... at least go to do it.
Bad propagation on low bands, the 160 and 80m big noisy. In 15/20 fantastic
condition with NA but few stations worked this time, they celebration of the
ARRL Field Day. The summer EU Sporadic on 10m with interesting openings. The
20m is where best rates are achieved with high international participation
(mostly EU). However, the Log has many unique qsos 001 or 002 numbers assume
that QSOs will be lost...
This year has been active EF0JC Station (aka EA0JC) within 6 bands and for most
of the time, a very representative station and hopefully precedent involving
attractive to increase participation in editions of CW and SSB in the coming
years, because every day is not possible get indicative EA0 to work in 6 bands.
We believe that the operation has been magnificent (Fb).
Thanks to colleagues EA2NS (aka EC2DX) for competition so much fun and the
other colleagues who have called us and make a qsy to another band and helped
make this succeed.
See you at next Contest (IARU HF WC 2013).
