Comments:

FT1000MP, 100W, TH6DXX, dipole, inverted vee. Had been using the Alpha 91b on
80M with no problem. Got in the shack late and couldn't get the amp to tune on
20 for some unknown reason. Decided to quit trying and do this session with
low power. That prompted AD1C on 20M to ask if I was QRP. Well, no. I was
not QRP, but sometimes I felt like it. 40M was the only band I was able to run
well on. On 20 and 80, I felt rather weak, although I was able to work a number
of Europeans on 20 and 40. 20M seemed much better than it has been lately, with
good signals from Eu and US. 40M was also quite good and not very noisy despite
a front with severe thunderstorms having passed our area only an hour or so
before the CWT. 80M was noisy and there didn't seem to be the usual level of
activity on that band. Thanks for all QSOs and looking forward to next week.
Prospective new members worked included WO1X and W0MU. 73, John, K4BAI.
