Comments:
I worked 70 stations and with an 80 meter dipole at 70 feet fed with 450 ohm
ladder line and a KX3 on battery power. All sideband contacts. I am also at
6400 feet elevation in Truckee, CA. Surprisingly the best band was 40 meters.
These contacts were all made using only 5 watts. Tough work
This year the Truckee TRASH group was scatted to the four winds....so no group
effort
