Comments:
I was unable to get started until Saturday night on 80m. I felt pretty loud and
had a decent rate for all S&P following the spots. Saturday morning fired
up with hopes of some good rates, quickly discovered the SWR was going wild on
my tri-band yagi. I spent a lot of time chasing that down, my best guess it is
either a coax connector at the balun or the balun itself. Just what I want, a
tower project in the winter. It is a project to lower the mask to get to the
yagi. I was not able to get any of my wires to load on 20m. 15m loaded and
worked ok on the 40m dipole, I was able to force 10m through the tuner into the
yagi, but had to use low power or the SWR would continue to go wild. This left
me unable to run, but just search and pounce, I did get sevral of the hard
ones.
