14 hrs and 850 contacts first night.
Four hours into second night it dawned
on me that this was an endurance contest
and I was not qualified to compete.
Giving up on a 48 hour contest is
a sure sign of getting old.
I am now faced with prospect of
having to come up with legitimate
excuse for a poor showing in the
upcoming Stew Perry.
I have to hope we have a hell of
an ice storm in Arkansas.
