Comments:
A good compromise weekend between high band and low band conditions. 10 meters
wasn't fantastic, especially on Saturday. But it was pretty good and in a few
years from now I will learn just how good it was. The low bands were OK --
worked 31 EU on 80, which is pretty good from this corner of the continent.
And 40m was really good on the first night as well.
Everything worked perfectly and I was given terrific spousal support. Even the
cats were nice to me. :-)
I dream of operating a contest from here that has those big, pounding European
signals on 10m, but that will probably never happen. I've heard them before,
but always on weekdays! Signal strengths overall were never huge on 10 from
EU, and after the first day I had about 50 countries on that band. Thank
goodness the second day was better.
It is a lot of fun being a wanted multiplier. Got moved by some Carribbean
guys that really helped my mult total on top band.
