First off, I wish to say I hope there is no significance to the appearance of
"the number of the beast" in my claimed score. I didn't do it on
purpose, honest. But seriously, was it me or were condx down a bit this year
compared to last? Anyway, tried to equal last year's totals but didn't - maybe
it's all about the sunspots. Other than that, good runs to JA this year from
the frozen wasteland known as New Jersey (but I do want to thank the power
company for apparently fixing that really noisy pole pig right in the way to
Japan!), although my mult totals were down considerably, and on Dupe Day (some
people call it "Sunday") there were many in the running for this
year's winner's plaque in the "See how many times you can call KU2M for a
dupe" contest - it was difficult, at times, to keep up with the demand, as
there were sometimes two or three dupes to acknowledge in a row. Guess they just
like to call me...over and over and over again. Turning them away (politely, of
course) costs time and I must admit I was quite adept at picking out the wrong
guy in the pileup to answer. Yup, it's another dupe...
