Comments:

FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 1 KW, TH6DXX, dipole, zepp. Started out on 40M with a great
run, doing about 3 a minute for the first 17 minutes or so, and then the rate
dried up and the next 43 minutes were a struggle for each QSO. 20M was almost
dead, although F5IN and F6HKA had good signals from western Europe. No west
coast stations heard on 20M. By the end, stations in New England and eastern
Canada had good signals. A few others worked from eastern US, but didn't seem
to be scatter as signals were strongest on the direct path. Back and forth
between 20 and 40 toward the end. 15 sounded completely dead as it probably
was. Hope to work all of you in NCJ NA Sprint CW on Saturday night. Please
let me know if you are interested in being on a Southeast Sprint Coalition team
for it. Doesn't matter if you are in the Southeast or not. Thanks for the
QSOs. Not near a record here unless it is a record for the lowest score for a
full hour high power operation. 73, John, K4BAI.
