Comments:

Not one of my better hours. I've tried to get an LPT card to interface to the
DxDoubler without having mouse pointer issues but even with the improvement of
a 2nd card its still been hesitating to move and tonite it froze. Using Alt key
commands I somehow got it back before having to actually power the pc down which
n1mm sometimes doesn't like and you have to convert a BAK file for a new ini.
Long story but I am disillusioned with my high dollar business Dell i7 desktop
withj two spare slots that don't mingle well with LPT cards. Am borrowing a
piexx box from n3rd to assure myself before buying one that it will cure my
woes. But that didn't really kill the cwt as much as I did. I just couldn't get
it together after getting infuriated with my issues and wound up playing with
so2r, trying to catch up by working 2 bands CQing & S&Ping. Chalk this
one up to so2r training. But good news-wise my recent addition of stubs for
80/40 and thrusting my 40m sloper into the mix has my interference almost
perfectly nil. Cu next week, film at eleven.

After initial encouraging so2r on 40/20, interference has crept in plus 80/40
have strange things going on after installing some stubs. I found that using my
OCF just has too much RF floating around. The GFI in the kitchen trips which
turns off my under counter light and my wireless phones both go into intercom
mode and commence beeping. Nightmare on elm street. I repaired my rg8x feed
line that goes to my rarely used 40 mtr sloper and that helped a lot. I need to
eliminate my multi band wires with associated single feed lines but probably
won't happen until the good wx returns. We have a work in progress situation
with so2r but I'm relentless.
