Comments:
Another activation of the North Country National Scenic Trail. Best effort to
date on the CWT.
Probably should have stayed on 40 for the entire 60 minutes. Tried a bit of
20, but could never tell if I was in the skip zone of another calling on the
same frequency, so could never get a run going.
On 40, probably "ran" 80% of the time. 10% of the time was S&P,
and 10% was Public Relations for the National Park Service and ham radio, when
hikers and bikers would stop and ask "Is that Ham Radio?" or similar
questions. There was considerable amazement that such a modest station could
contact folks across the country.
