Comments:

I recently moved to a new QTH so no towers yet. My antenna is just an
inverted vee suspended above the upper floor balcony and adjacent to the
steel roof. With 100 watts it felt as if I were running QRP with a decent
antenna. The mutual EMI with the wireless internet Cat5 cable caused
havoc in the house and on the air. Antenna and cable are separate only
3 to 4 meters.

I operated just a little since it was difficult to simply ignore CQWW.
Once I hit 200 Q's I quit the temporary shack and got in some tower prep
work in the afternoon. After sunset I operated a little more.

One tower is planted and will be up shortly, weather permitting. The big
tower is partially planted (two guy anchors) but there are problems due
to the early winter weather. Trust me, you never want to have to deal
with a fully-laden concrete truck stuck in a hay field. Even so the
big tower should be raised by year end. Next year I expect to be back
in the game.
