Comments:
Had an antenna failure whilst working the 10 Meter opening on Sunday. Took over
5 hours, 2 trips to a hardware store, and a trip to my XYL's cousin's place for
cutting tools assistance.
Was able to get the antenna repaired in time to work a few stations on 15
Meters before that band dropped out, then finished up the Contest on 20M.
Lesson learned: Always have a spare antenna handy !!
