Operated from Staging Area for Fredrik Meijer White Pine Trail State Park as
part of Michigan State Parks On The Air (MSPOTA MSP404) and KFF1555 for World
Wide Parks On the Air (KFF1555).
Morley is a very small village (Pop 493 in 2010 census) with main fame to claim
is fishing an game hunting. The State Park is built on an abandoned railroad
bed, and accommodates walkers, bicyclists, and, in winter time, snowmobiles.
During 2016 parts of the trail were concurrent with the North County National
Scenic Trail. From the success of ARRL's National Parks On the Air, a group
from Michigan decided to sponsor "Michigan State Parks On The Air" so
operatig from staging areas along the trail is another diversion.
