Comments:
Call me dedicated, or call me crazy. Here I am at Club Med in Mauritius, and I
decide for the fun of it to work my station remotely over the club's rather
sporadic wifi. It was a real challenge with the roughly 5 second delay in my
station responding to my commands to transmit. What was worse, was that the
delay would fluctuate between 3 and 8 seconds. For the few of you that I
worked, I thank you for your patience. I had to try to time when I hit the
button to send my call sign, usually when you started to send your CQ. With
luck, I managed to make a few contacts. More often than not, I ended up
transmitting over your following CQ. I hope I didn't cause too much QRM.
Now, back to the beach and the sun. It's 30 degrees Celsius here today.
