Comments:

I have trouble with band changes since the SteppIR usually does not work. This
afternoon I converted a low 80 meter inverted vee to a 40/80 fan inverted vee.
The band change was efficient.

I started on 40 and stayed for about 45 minutes. I wanted to go to 80 earlier,
and even though there were hardly any signals on 40, people kept calling in.
Eventually, there were no signals to be seen, so I went to 80. Generally, I use
a vertical wire in a tree on 80, but it came down when the rope wore through.
Still the inverted vee at 35 feet was OK.

It was a nice steady pace, but rarely did more than one guy call in at once. I
have been working on getting both call signs at once and this helps the rate a
bit. I'll get some more wires up so I can start working on SO2R.
