Interesting weekend but tiring...Started out with good rates on 20 & 15...40
was exceptional all weekend...Got the mults on 80 but no quanity...160 was
terrible and we managed a little E Skip 10...20 was excellent the second day, 15
not so much...Two high points for me this weekend. 1.) Working VY0ERC, Nunavut
on 40. 2.) Working my Elmer, Robert Harris, now W6FV...Bob threw up a wire and
worked us with his IC-706...He hadn't been on HF for 20+ years and he and I
hadn't worked in over 50 years!...It was great to have an old friend Will
Roberts, AA4NC join us.
Thanks for your contacts and all the repeats...We found most everyone to be
polite and patient which helped...Still, I'll take a CW Contest any day, this
was like work.
