SOAPBOX: IC-706MKIIG,Heil Pro Micro, Diamond X-200 Vertical for 2 Meters and 70
CM only. 2 element Cubical Quad up 25 feet for 6 Meters,(a wonderful gift from
my GMCC Club !). My first VHF contest since my initial licenture in 1989. I
wish there had been more sporadic E, like I experianced on June 6 and 7 during
my first two days on six meters. Missed a couple of contacts due to RAPID QSB,
and/or multiple Ops transmitting on the same frequency at the same time. Tall
pine trees between my 6 meter quad and a dead south or dead north beam heading.
Had fun, and will be back. Thanks for your patience and for the Q's . N7MZW
