Comments:
Zip heard on 160; 80 was good; 40 and 20 mostly weak signals but nice to work a
few Europeans on 20. Cannot run the amplifier at over about 600 watts on 40
without producing a chirping noise -- not on the signal, but from inside its
cabinet. Going to try moving it a bit farther from the other gear, and applying
more ferrite chokes.
Very sad to see that N8XX is SK --- Hank sure added some spark to the
reflector.
