Archaic operator with archaic equipment and antennas.
Operator mad of contests since 1961.
2 radios FT1000MP and TS850S and antennas KLM 4 el for 40 and tribander KT34XA
are in use more than 20years. 160 - dipole, 80 - vertical with elevated radials
and top wire load. One modern unit - MK2R+. Antenna commutator, triplexer and
filters for 80 and 40 have been made for WRTC 2010 and used by our team. Now
this system enabled to work SO2R each radio at any band with no QRM.
Had very hard month repairing all antennas after storm. It was necessary to put
down both yagi's, repair and elevate back. Was too tired during the Contest, but
anyway had a great fun. Thanks everybody for contacts.
