Comments:
I thought this was going to be a SO2R event for me but that was not to be. K3
left was on 40 and K3 right was on 20. 40 seemed strange, perhaps long - short -
or dead. Well, after changing the left K3 to diversity and using the AUX input
I found out the front end on the main Bev and Xmit antenna was almost dead. So
the rest of the contest was run only using K3 right and, I would guess that
fault diagnosis went on for 30 - 45 minutes. Moving cables, reloading K3
firmware, etc. Of course to load K3 firmware N1MM had to be down so no Qs.
Finally I settled in to K3 right and got going.
By the end of Session 1 I was happy with my score considering the many
interruptions and less than focused first 1+ hours.
Now - what will happen to Session 2?
Thanks for the Qs and fun.
73,
Bruce N1LN
