Comments:

This contest allowed me to get a pretty good idea what my new tower and new
antennas were capable of. Being in a typical residential neighborhood is a
challenge but TW-51 tower and 3 element SteppIR and JK-401 antennas worked much
better than my former 6-band hex beam and 40/80 inverted V at 40 ft.

I was able to catch the 10M opening on Saturday. I didn’t expect to log any on
10M.

I stayed on 40M early evening until I shut my station down when the
thunderstorms and lightning came on Saturday night so I missed that time in the
chair.

I ran HP but only 300W and logged two ATNO: C37NL (Andorra) and TK5MH (Corsica).

Thanks for the KB contacts!
