Since I now have a single antenna, and that antenna is an 80 meter vertical, an
SB80 entry this is!
I can't recall working any 80 SSB DX or doing any 80 SSB contesting in my entire
52 year ham radio career until this point. So this was interesting. Frankly, I
was surprised to be able to work as much as I did given the HOA compliant,
severely under-radialed vertical antenna that is hidden in the lush vegetation
in my backyard.
I look forward to more SB80 efforts. I think I'll try base loading the vertical
to see what it'll do on 160.....
