I decided to just go with N1MM+ and not bother also trying to hand-write each
QSO in my paper log. It might have helped a bit with the score but it
definitely made things easier. I also adjusted the canned messages to only send
my call once, maybe that let me squeeze in another CQ or two in the hour.
It was my best score so far, I'll have to keep looking for ways to improve.
Sunspots would help...
