Comments:
Worked Spain on 6m CW a couple hours before the contest started then got tied up
with 100 other things over the weekend.
With my frustration over most of the VHF activity moving over to the digi-modes,
my heart just wasn't in it to try to make an appearance here and there.
It's always the ones you miss that you regret. Most ARRL tests I at least have
the rigs on most of the weekend and work the big openings or dig deep and
scratch out a dozen Q's on 6 & 2 here for many hours of work.
Oh to be in W5 or W9 for this VHF contest weekend !
All this to say, I never actually made any Qs....and apparently missed some
AWESOME Es to boot! Reading all the 3830 reports, seems my disgust with FT-blah
modes is partially misplaced and folks are figuring out that Q's can be had much
quicker and easier on CW and SSB when there is decent prop.
N6TR's comments are where my heads at.
Maybe next time folks ! I missed y'all.
