Operated from 0130Z-0653Z. Compromise transmit antenna - the inverted L
horizontal portion has been temporarily tied off to the ground until the 5 el
20M yagi is raised on the same tower. Seems to work OK except to the West.
Also have developed an issue with the Hi-Z 8 circle Receive array -- only works
in the NE NW SW SE positions. Need to check that out before CQWW SSB. Band
was generally quiet, with a fair amount of QSB.
Was going to get up before Sunrise to check condx to JA and points West, but
sleep won out. Got 14 EU - best DX = OM2XW. Other DX = XE2X ZF2MJ KP2M
NP2J NP2X NP4Z Good VE participation.
