Comments:
40 seemed OK. The SteppIR resonated for the first time in months, but acted
like a dummy load. It was too broadband and did not hear as well as the
inverted vee. 41 QSOs in the first 15 minutes with quite a few CQs. Hard to find
a frequency at first. Did not feel loud, almost like a spectator, so a slow
start. Good coverage of the USA, but signals were weak. Had 75 QSOs at 0330Z.
Went to 80 at 0340Z. Rate was very good until the end. There was a 10 minute
spurt near the end at 198/hour.
